You’ll visit four of the area's finest local chocolatiers, where you’ll learn the fascinating history of chocolate, explore the production process, and discover how to properly taste and appreciate fine chocolate. At each stop, you’ll enjoy samples of the very best chocolate treats the Twin Cities has to offer, with time to purchase additional goodies at each location because who doesn't deserve pampering every day?

If you love fine chocolate, treat your favorite person to the Twin Cities’ only guided chocolate tour.
Relax aboard a warm, cozy coach bus as you’re chauffeured to the Twin Cities’ best chocolatiers for a day filled with indulgence, discovery, and romance. Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of chocolate, how it’s made, how to taste it like a pro, and even sample the latest craze—cacao nibs.
We’ll dive right in with decadent delights including Potion #9 Chocolate Sauce, rich sipping chocolate, and chocolates featuring a variety of cacao percentages. You’ll even leave with one of their most loved truffles. This stop is also the perfect place to grab a coffee, tea, latte—or yes, even chocolate tea.
Second, we’ll visit a third-generation chocolatier whose motto is “Quality has no substitute.” In 2026, they celebrate 100 years of fine craftsmanship, still using the same marble tables and copper kettles that have defined their legacy for generations. Working in small batches and using only the finest ingredients, their candies are crafted from the original family recipes—unchanged and unrivaled. You’ll marvel at their astounding 400 truffle varieties and, of course, leave with a four-pack of your very own to enjoy later.
Then we visit a chocolatier who learned her craft from French masters after being inspired by Julia Child’s passion for the culinary arts. For over 20 years these artisan chocolates have won local and national awards and have been hailed by leading critics, reviewers, and food experts. Talent, training, and exceptional ingredients combine to make some of the finest handcrafted confections in the city.
Finally, enjoy gooey turtles and the famous Chicago Mix® popcorn at a beloved local institution dating back to 1932—complete with rumored ties to the St Paul mob. Their legendary family chocolate and caramel recipes shine in everything from chocolate-covered cherries to classic sponge candy.
